Whether you need impact resistance, cold temperature performance, chemical resistance, or extreme UV (ultraviolet) protection, we can help you find a material to meet your specifications.

Applications of Thermoformed Outdoor Plastic Housings:

Mayfield Plastics has manufactured for many industries including recreational vehicles, all terrain vehicles, medical applications, electrical and electronic enclosures as well as cabinet panels. Listed below are some examples of custom plastic outdoor enclosures that we have thermoformed or vacuum formed.

  • Mosquito control housing– A few years ago, several scientists required assistance translating a new discovery of mosquito population control into a viable commercial product. After several years of development and prototyping in conjunction with us, an industry was born that still sells portable mosquito control devices all over the world. Our ability to thermoform the custom plastic outdoor enclosure was a key to launching this product.
  • Thermoformed sled– we improved on an old design by upgrading the material to TPO in a bright yellow color, which greatly improved the durability and appearance over the earlier generation HDPE sled. It also reduced the product weight for improved performance.
